DoorDash
- Add the eligible card to DoorDash.
- Activate DashPass if the card includes it.
- Place an eligible restaurant, grocery, or convenience order.
- Use pickup when fees would erase the value.
- Confirm the monthly or quarterly credit applied or posted.
Instacart
- Add the eligible card to Instacart.
- Activate Instacart+ if your card includes it.
- Place an eligible order before the monthly credit expires.
- Watch for minimum order, delivery fee, and second-order rules.
- Save the receipt until the credit posts.
Practical Use
- Use credits for staples you would buy anyway.
- Combine small credits with pickup orders when available.
- Track each card separately if you have multiple Chase or cobranded credits.
- Check whether the credit applies at checkout or later as a statement credit.
Avoid
- Letting a tiny monthly credit expire because delivery fees are too high
- Assuming every grocery or convenience order qualifies
- Forgetting to activate the included membership
- Using Apple Pay or a wallet that hides the eligible card from the app
